I have a short story with a follow up question. At my work most drum and bass would be considered inappropriate. However, I had the brilliant idea of searching Pandora for Blu Mar Ten. Sure enough you guys popped up and my co-workers along with customers like the station enough that we play it all the time.
Do you get paid for that?

This article might be eye opening in a depressing way...

The one positive thing may come of listening to Pandora is that one of your co-workers likes something they hear enough to go and buy it.

We do, yes, via Soundexchange. Not huge amounts... Between $0.002 and $0.008 per play, something like that. Better than nothing, for sure.

Jesus, 125 to 500 plays gets you a dollar. What the fuck?
    I feel bad now.
