I find the directional apps very useful, especially when they don't tell me I am walking in the wrong direction.

I am gonna shut up, cus we would probably still be wondering around Aldgate East now, trying to get home, if you hadn't come & rescued us!!!

    haha, nah it's cool mate.

It was actually my fault tho, we were on the right road, we had just gone the wrong way up it.

It was funny tho, "I swear it should be on the right any second... oh no hang on, we have been walking the wrong way for the last 20 minutes"

I got the Blackberry Storm 2, had it since it was launched. It is very reliable, and much much better than the original Storm - and it now is equiped with wi-fi.

If you are looking for a functional alternative to the iphone, this is a great choice. It is geared towards business more so than the iphone, you get better email / MS office app options which is indicitive of blackberry.

Any way you slice it the iphone is a lot more fun, lots of cool gadgets, apps and games. But they are really delicate - i have seen so many peoples iphones with cracked screens (don't think this is a good choice for a phone if you are a klutz)

Do some research and find the right phone, there is a lot of competition with regard to touch screen phones at the moment and it really boils down to what you like in a phone the most.

The 8520 is a entry level Blackberry phone. It doesnt have GPS i dont think, and the screen is a bit poor. If you can get it, get the Storm 2 or 9700 Bold. I got the Bold (9700) on boxing day and it's amazing, not slowed down with constant use, has 3G and GPS and a screen with familar, if not better quality than the iPhone.
