Finally grabbed these yesterday.. They weren't top of my list before i got there, but they sounded better than the other 2 i wanted (Yamaha 50s and M audio's)..

Ended up getting a pukka deal from Digital Village, and saved £70 which was an extra birthday bonus :D (Got everything in the pic for £310)

Think overall, I really liked and prefered the Yamaha 80's But price was an issue, so opted for these..

Now studio Pretty much finished, apart from beading round the top of the vocal booth type area

Luckily my house is detached and that was built at bottom of the garden so I don't have any issues thank god. :D
 
Nice, I'm actually a bit jealous!

I'm planning on building a mancave eventually, keep the misses and my 2 daughters away from my gear. The amount of times I come home and the washing is sitting on my keyboard or chair. Drives me up the wall!:violin:
 
That's the reason I had it built mate.. Can't be doing with my kids scratching my records and playing with all my gear :)

Plus I needed the extra room to have a seperate mixing, vocal and production area which the mrs would never of let me have in the house :D
 
Got the print and the CPU desk from EBay last year.. Think the desk was about £70 and I'm pleased with it overall, nice and sturdy etc..
 
Thanks man, I do try to keep things in order, although I still haven't sorted out the cables yet.. :D

I'll do a little breakdown of all the bits later.. Taken a few years to get it all finished, and a lot of the mixing equipment was from when i started about 14 years ago, just a shame i had a huge break from producing, and after a year or so of producing, way back in the Reason 1 days, i stopped due to a few issues, and only started again last year.. Just gonna try and put everything ive got into it this time, if anything comes from it then result! if not, at least ive given it a shot..
 
I think it could be the greatest chair ever if i'm honest.. Hahahaha

How do you have your rockets set up at the back? I only gave them a quick listen yesterday, but they seemed to sound better with the volume control on the back turned right up? But not sure if that's the best thing to do
