"Drum & Bass producer Sub Focus (Nick Douwma to his mum) first joined us at Radio 1’s Big Weekend on the Outdoor Stage. This year he’s planning something more than a little special to top his debut. With a full live band in tow:eek:
he’ll be transforming his dubstep, house and D&B hybrids into a live experience that’s tipped to be epic!"

Wonder if its going to work..... good luck to him!

aint gonna be nuffin compared to pitchshifter... genius, wysiwyg, microwaved, a bit more breakbeat than dnb but it was all done live and they were fuckin intense. shame they sold out tho!

Going to see him at Big Weekend tomorrow - apparently he's using lots of motion sensors and stuff like that.

You just know this is going to be cringey. Loads of teenagers in Ram T-Shirts dancing to Rock It thinking this is what dnb is all about

It's a glorified DJ set but tbh I think I'd enjoy this more than C&S and Pendulol

Exactly. I expected there to be some MC jibba jabbering away and making whale noises

Exceeded my expectations. Well done Nick

makes a nice listen but I have to disagree

    live band? where?

an ableton live dj set with some fancy lighting is far less impressive than an attempt to incorporate some sort of live experience.

Sub Focus live? he's doing less than he would in a DJ set, seeing as he plays out with vinyl!

Would much rather watch a DJ set. This is just playing the first and second breakdowns of each track with no discernible difference from the original except for the odd beat repeat.
