"Best" is too subjective a word for this thread to ever be anything but an 5 page long argument between Noisia/Calibre/Break/Hazard fans etc & so on and so forth YGM
How about expanding that to "Label" instead of artist? Labels that has put out consistantly sick tunes etc. Choosing an artist is a little difficult...
Exactly, It will be interesting to see people's choices after all its who do "you" think is the best producer in history. We've all got our favourites but who do you rate top dog
Joking apart it's one of the following people: Jonny L - in it since the Hardcore days, easily the most diverse in the list, has made more and better albums than the rest of them, continually reinvented himself. Digital - two decades of consistent bangers, never lost his touch, never stopped making music that the older heads could relate to, still makes the kids dance. Photek - several really creative and productive phases, did stuff with drums that people are still trying to figure out a way to copy decades later with vastly superior technology. Dillinja - made the finest dnb of all of them between 93 and 98 and even though he went a bit pooey after that still has a peerless discography for that era. Calibre - finest ear for samples of any of the post 98 brigade; unrivalled productivity.
