Looking for some advice on headphone amps/soundcards. I got bought a pair of beyerdynamic DT880 600ohm as a gift by my girlfriend without realising the power needed to drive the beasts. My soundcard has also died recently, so I'm on the hunt for a soundcard for around the £200 mark that can also double up as an amplifier to drive 600ohm headphones.
I've been looking at Nuforce udac5 however this is simply as dac/amp.
Does anyone know if the Focusrite (or similar) sound cards have enough juice to do the job?
