cracking headphones. I've got the 990s, which i got for free, but if i'd have paid for them i def would've opted for the 770s. Good choice, you wont be dissapointed

my dt770 pro's were super comfy, make sure you have (or get) the velour ear pads.

I'm going to get some beyers again soon, just deciding between 990 and 770 so interested in H*products comment there.

Have a pair of these and a pair of the dt-250's. I love the 770's sound great every time. One thing I will say about them is they are a lot more comfortable than most headphones. Can wear them for hours. Ive had mine about 6 years now and still sound as good as when I got them. Great for referencing when mixing and mastering

I'd say if your only ever using them for mixing in a quiet enviromet the 990s are slightly better. Although it is kind of subjective and I actually prefer the 770s tonally, although thats just my personal preference.

I feel the versatility of the 770s outweighs the slightly better sound of the 990s.

e2a im not sure if the 770m and pro are the same. the ones im on about are around £130

My Beyerdynamic DT 770 (M)!!!! arrived 2 days ago. the mids are incredible. but the lows are terrible :((((((( i need to hear the sub bass too. so i was looking around on the web and found out i got a headphone that is designed for drummers.
    im sending those back.

does the beyer dynamic dt 770 pro have a good sub bass?
