Did anyone watch the Premiere of Better Call Saul?

I think its going to be great seeing how all the characters in Breaking Bad developed before the met Walter.

The opening bit in Black and White that showed him in the future after 'disappearing' was excellent!

tbh... if theres no walter or jesse it could be abit ham-shank?? ... arron paul said jesse wont be in it to the huffington post.. but it could just be part of building the hype and he might be a main character.. i cant see walter being in it.. altho... remember in breaking bad there was loads of foreshadowing.. itd skip ahead a couple of months here n there and give you glimpses of whats to come... i guess they are good enough writers to skip forward and give you bits of the breaking bad story we havent seen with walter in it.. dunno if itll happen tho.. hopefully its not a fail like most 2nd attempts at one creation are ... got faith in gilligan tho tbh.. and the writers ( is it the same writers ) im sure they gunna pull something decent out the bag.. breaking bad was full of twists and kept you guessing... so im sure they got something up their sleeves.. or hopefully an actor as good as walter or jesse with an equally intriguing story line.. sauls good.. but he wasnt the main guy.. if it mainly saul and mike going round fucking peoples shit up... itll be a laugh.. but it wont have the same dimensions as BB .. the manipulative role walter had over jesse and all that going on...

i just cant see it being anything near as good as BB ..

so is it starting now then? weekly?

Yes, its a double episode premiere, Sunday and Monday night, then every Monday night. I think the first season is 10 episodes.

Its going to be a completely different thing to Breaking Bad. Its more a prequel with back stories of the supporting cast explored more. I think its going to be good, simply because the writers are some of the best in the business.

Yes, the episodes air of AMC on Monday nights every week then they are published on Netflix on Tuesday every week.

The 2nd episode really didn't disappoint!

I'm rooting for it. Watched both episodes so far, not to bad. Saul is definitely a funny guy, and there's way way worse shit on TV than this. It's gonna be tough to get some into it since it's in the shadows of braking bad, which was one of the best TV series of all time. I got this feeling the Jessie will eventually show up. He's still alive and all, I'm sure he'll need a lawyer again someday.
