Hopefully, as promised, Iwill be uploading Westfest 2007 on the 20th. What is the best program to use and the quickest...

My opinion on megaupload/sendspace is shit for people downloading off because of limits, unless you buy PRo..

Views please?

the reason alot of uploaders use rapid/mega/sendspace/deposit files etc is because as a company they all offer something back to the uploader ie collectors account in which they benifet from using the servive,as a downloader you aint aware that over 80% of the links shown are in someones account , ....

alot of the bigger companies listed offer noit just that but also longer online files ie instead of the regular 30 days no hit on the link they remove places like rapidshare offer 90 days , hence links if not taken down by complaints will last longer and saves endless threads with "reup please in it"

hundreds of people download but yet a very small amount can be assed to upload or mirror ...

personally mate i serjest use filesharer that you as a uploader can benifet from the best , people can wait or someone else can rape then mirror ...

rant n education over !!!

just to explain my choices, mediafire & divshare both keep your files hosted indefinitely..

mediafire is quicker on the upload, and just smoother imo... but it does have a bug where files cant DL even tho they seem to be online... dunno how frequently it happens but def a few times for me...

divshare creates a flash player of files upped, which is cool, but it also chops file names which is annoying...

neither have wait times, and they are both pretty consistently working/online

and mediafires name is cool :)

yeh, just gotta show my strong endorsement for these 2 companies... solid service imho

Thanks for the advice...

Also, I'm expecting the tracks to be separate, do I use WinRar to upload all the tracks on 1 CD at the same time..
If that makes sense.

Churs

Sendspace is crap - only hosts files for a reallly short time :(

WinRar the files into one file before upload is defo the best way :D

dnbshare for sets, mediafire for everything else.

please whatever you do don't put them on sendspace. the number of dead links to great sets I've come across is staggering.

personally i prefer rapidshare because me and a friend share payment on an account and use the points from downloads whenever we canto get free periods (the incentives panty was on about) rapidshare is reliable and quick.
also, dnbshare is good, as is zshare, but i dont like mediafire cos it doesnt download properly with my IDManger!!
