    What's up guys,

    I d like to go to a festival in the uk this summer, probably in August, and I was wondering which ones have the best dnb lineups (its all im going for, but because im going with friends there should be some other bands so I can convince them to come). Been to exit a couple years ago which was nice, im also looking for a festival where you can camp and is not aggy-chav contaminated. Not too expensive will be good too.

    Thanks!

    Judging by title alone i would have said Boardmasters, never been personally (or to any festival for that matter) but a fuck load of my mates go every year and say its absolutely insane there.. Not loads of dnb this year but Andy C is there. Just google it for the lineup

    not in august but close enough, sick line-up, cheap tickets, great atmosphere and loads of other shit to go see and do, (extreme sports, graffiti etc...)

    Yeah boardmasters is pretty good, went last year, loads of jailbait there as well. Newquay's a quality place anyway though i reckon, usually a fair amount of dub, electro or dnb djs playing at the local clubs as well, especially when the festivals on. The pro competitions are amazing, especially the vert skating.
    Just make sure you go on the right day beacuse the campsite doesnt open untill friday midday i dont think. I spent the first night in my mates polo with 4 other people...

    Avoid Creamfields, the good tents are all far too small and get full far too quickly. 1 in 1 out alot of the tents the first night I was there, which I was pretty pissed off about.

    I went to Big Chill festival last year, was pretty sweet, but there wasn't a huge amount of Drum & Bass to be honest, just a Hopsitality night which wasn't all that great. There was plenty of other good music though and the atmosphere was wicked! Saw people like Roots Manuva, Mr Scruff, Bonobo, Massive Attack, MIA, Magnetic Man, DJ Food and JFB. Recommend it.

    Just re-read OP, my bad! Probably completely useless!

    Is at the end of July rather than August but Global should be pretty good this year;

    (Got rid of the Random Concept tent this year which might help you out on the chav front too.)

    Yeah I've heard Bestival is good, usually on my birthday at the begining of September, on the Isle of Wight, it's a lovely place, but I've heard it can be difficult to get party bags on the ferry ;)

    Edit - Boomtownfair looks sick!
