Best format to upload to Youtube please help

    Hi guys, Just wondering if someone can help me. I got video im trying to upload to Youtube. It's it AVI format. I tried uploading it to Youtube and it come up 4 hours to upload? After two hours it cut me off. It's only 11 min video. I tried searching on google but fuck knows, keeps telling me differnt stuff. What's best foramat to upload? Do i need converter? I don't wanna lose quaitly of sound of the video. Cheers guys.

    youtube videos can only be 10 minutes in length

    I didnt know that. Swear i seen some longer. How do i cut video down? Hard work this uploading bussines lol. I aint very good with comptuter tech lol. Any help would be great :)

    You can post more than 10 min vids, they dont do it on the length of the video they do it on the size like in mb. I do .wmv as I use windows movie maker to edit it and that cos im cheap, but .avi is your next bet. i dont have a clue why its taking 4 hours? how big is the file?

    yeah windows movie maker is shit but effective enough for youtube.
    just drag the file on to the storyboard and then you can edit the movie.
    you should then be able to save as wmv file.
    10 mins is just a standard length i think.

    it will be large at .avi. try converting it to the highest quality mp4 you can. all dependant on what your using to make the vid. i got a good program called VideoConverterPortable. and lke peeps said, 10 minute max.

    Cheers for reply have you got link. I did think it be this hard to upload video to youtube. Ive uploaded few vids from my phone before that was easy. I just want upload video of me mixing, im using digital cam.
