    Hi,

Can anyone recommend a decent amplifier? Looking to buy second hand and spend between 50-100 pounds, what would be a good buy? Had a few bad experiences with cambridge audio so will be avoiding them.

    Cheers

What speakers are you powering? You really need to match them up to:
    1. get the best out of them
    2. limit the chances of wrecking either the amp or the speakers.

Just a heads up, cambridge audio are pretty wank. My last job i had to service them because theyre amps that are often used by schools to power their interactive whiteboard speakers, and they fuck up allllll the time. Although saying that the majority of people using them were teachers with absolutely no technical knowledge.
