Ben Sage Auctions Test Pressings of Subsistence EP to Profit the Alzheimer Society of Oxford

Toronto, Canada - Ben Sage is auctioning the test presses of his latest release, forthcoming on Invader Recordings, on EBay to benefit the Alzheimer Society of Oxford. The highly anticipated Subsistence EP features

Just a Minute (featuring Savvy)

Breakdance Fusion

Peace Chant

Choir of Dawn.

Known for his rich textured sound of Drum and Bass, Ben continues to add to his catalogue which includes 2005's feel-good smasher "All About You", "and "Sleepless", and the subsequent VIP remixes of both, all showcasing Savvy's hauntingly sexy vocal contributions.

Held close to Ben's heart for personal reasons, the Alzheimer Society of Oxford provides resources to those affected by Alzheimer's disease, which is the most common form of dementia in older persons that affects many areas of cognitive function. Specific pathological findings have been identified when the brain has been studied under the microscope, although no cure for the disorder has been found. For more information about the Alzheimer Society of Oxford please visit http://www.alzheimer.oxford.on.ca/.

Ben has chosen this foundation because of his own personal experiences with the debilitating disease. Two of his grandparents were affected by Alzheimer's, and he witnessed the devastating effects firsthand.
"It is a really depressing condition that morphs what should be your best years, into a foggy, confused, and depressing state. Its emotional and physical ramifications make for a very sad end to one's life. There is so little known about this disease, but donations such as this will bring us a little closer to our goal of understanding and curing it. I think it is important to support this charity because it provides a lot in terms of education and support groups for people who suffer from Alzheimer's, and their families who are affected", said Ben. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this auction will be donated to the foundation.

Thank you for your generosity.
