i am very very new to drum and bass, i have heard slam - pendulum, and i love it, and now i want to listen to some more similar stuff, but i don't really know where to start...any suggestions?

Slam is breaks not d&b (the difference is the speed of the drums).

If you like that track, get the Pendulum album, Hold Your Colour AND Freestylers' Raw As Fuck (We Rock Hard and Pressure Point are also excellent). The Freestylers produced Slam with Pendulum. You might also want to check out Painkiller by the Freestylers & Pendulum.

Then you can have a listen to Aphrodite.

Then High Contrast.

Then Bad Company (Fresh heavily influenced the Pendulum sound - he used to be in Bad Company. You might like his new album "Escape from Planet Monday").

Then Black Sun Empire.

Then Noisia.

Then Tech Itch.

Then Spor. In that order, not the other way round (you'll understand one day).

this has got to be the best post, dnb has too many sub-genres. from heavy to mellow to abstract stuff to commercial sounds, and it is up to you to find what you fancy
