Ed rush & Marky. i have heard ed rush was playing some marky dubs he didnt have permission to play and that is why the marky remix of funktion never got a release.
Clayton hines (renegade hardware) and konflict is the classic one. messiah and beckoning were shown to him and clayton wanted to sign the tunes but before any formal contract was put in place, other labels put in more favourable offers for a contract and so clayton got his contract signed at gunpoint....apparently
can someone properly explain the redeyes and goldie stairs thing?
Clayton practically admitted it on a DOA interview, along the lines of "i aint proud of it but thats how things were back then"
nice chap
someones gotta ask it.....
can you shed any light on the Kemal & Rob Data / Messiah release, and all the mad rumours that went around about it all....?
lol,i knew it was going to come up,to put it in a nutshell, konflict gave me a tune to put out called messiah,we had a gentlemens agreement that was going to release on my forthcoming hardware lp and at the last minute they reneged on the agreement so me and my partner sat down with them had a meeting to try and iron out the situation, the meeting came to no avail,so we had to deal with it in our own way, people have got to understand,i am a fair person but if i think you are taking me for a punk then be prepared to deal with things on a street level, sometimes to goes like that i am not proud of what happened but the way i grew up thats the way it goes sometimes
Anyone who threatens another guy with a gun over a dnb tune is automatically written off my list as a nice guy
The Shy vs Pascal thing. What happened there then. Pretty sure I know who you mean with the third person
Rockwell was saying that if it wasn't for new styles of music to influence D&B then it wouldn't be this big and original
Ant TC1 vs Trap music (which got Rockwell involved)
It happened all on twitter and was deleted on the same day it happened. What I saw, is that both were right. Ant was saying that D&B shouldn't change that much to keep its sound original to the early days and hated when new styles like Trap entered in the scene 'ruined' the genre(which imo he is right in the first part) and Rockwell was saying that if it wasn't for new styles of music to influence D&B then it wouldn't be this big and original (which viewed from the right perspective was also right)
It wasn't that much of a fight, rather an argument but it escalated very quickly with everybody that caught the fight.
Trap is shit tho.
indivision vs their fans
