Skrillex's Bangarang EP sold like hot cakes when it came out in the end of December, Kyoto was on Bangarang, ergo Kyoto was the 'DnB track of 2011'.

I don't really think it can be called dnb though? I don't wanna get into a genre argument, but this doesn't sound like it fits any subgenre of dnb.

Isn't it time we had an awards ceremony voted for by people in the scene. If you leave it to the fans you end up with the same bullshit winners
