    tried to post this in production but for some reason it wouldnt let me!


    wouldnt mind knowing what all of you are using atm ?

    but basically
    i got 700-800 quid to blow on speakers!
    gonna be used for dj's in my house...

    you may say you dont need to spend that much, im goin to anyway...

    thought you lot would be able to give me a decent opinion on what im lookin at...

    the adams are good.. but they get quite unclear as the volume turns up.. they are impressive but i think the krks would probs win..

    especially as they are like twice the size!

    krk for loudness, adams for superior sound quality

    but seriously don't buy monitors just for DJing you may as well get a PA system or something

    naaa!! i want active monitors... loudness and clarity...

    and i will be using them for mixing tracks once i get a mac!

    I use KRK Rokit 6's and they are the nuts! And on a plus.....they look damn good too!

    yeah rockwell uses them! says the bass is boomin but the top end isnt the best

    would they be better than the krks tho ?

    better than the rokits, probably no better than the vxts.

    dunno about those 3 way ones

    ^ The mk 1's specifically. You can usually pick a 2nd hand pair up on soundonsound for under £500.

    i think my mate has the krk jobbys, sure does look like them, and when i heard the sound from them i was astounded.

    so, not that i know what im talking about, but yeah krks mate :)
