I currently have a ton of wav samples that have their respective BPM info in the filename, but are non-Acidised/Sliced samples. Due to the sheer volume of files, I don't really want to go through each file individually and manually create flex markers/slices. At the same time, I don't want to simply time stretch them in my DAW as the results can sometimes be less that musical.

That said, does anyone know of a program that can process these files in a manner that will "auto-slice" them for me? AudioFinder perhaps? FYI, my current DAW's are Logic Pro 9 and Ableton 8 (OSX Mt. Lion).

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Cheers.

I can't figure out how to do it in Reason but I do believe propellerheads have a program that slices things for rex files. I saw Danny Bird do it on a tutorial once with a vocal, it took him about a minute. Might be a good idea to look into.
