1. Like its predecessor, Moodswings vol2 is gaining massive critical Praise for Spearhead Records, showcasing some of the best drum & bass out there at the moment and Bass Music is happy to present 3 of the labels biggest names. After several years releasing amazing music on Spearhead & bingo Lomax recently released his debut EP on Andy C's massive RAM imprint. Next up is the Brazilian super producer S.P.Y. who alongside Marky is tearing up the radio waves right now and dropping damage on pretty much every label worth its salt. Label boss Bcee has one the highest quality control levels in the business which is evident both in his labels output and his faultless tune selection as a DJ.

2. Arguably the hottest night to emerge on the NW scene in years, Uberwang! boast an exciting mashup of styles and one of the hardest raving crowds in Manchester affectionately known as the 'wangers. Heading the bill is one of the dubstep scenes great tastemakers, Ramadanman, tipped for greatness by everyone from Kode9 to Hobbs he has the tunes and the experience to deliver an epic show. Also featured are Manchester favourites, the Steppahs and you just know the party is going off.

3. Returning to Manchester again to serve out another helping of insane fidget, and bassline heavy dance music, Londons Kanji Kinetic is Mixmags 'Man of the Moment' and has remixed everyone from Limewax to MSI to Adam Freeland. Breakbeat Stalwarts Bassrock Records are pulling out the stops with a soundsystem showcase. With Radio 1 airplay and a new EP out, Unjustified Recordings' Gordon Tinnitus is playing a full live show and the Neon Knights' Ashton Dayrider will be showing how he's come to be one of th most in demand DJs in the city.

There are still more acts tbc, but the line up's only going to get stronger and all this is just £5 adv (details to be posted soon)
Throw in Ludicrous drinks offers and sound reinforcement from GASH and COMA and you're looking at one THE party's of the winter.

FrIday 9th October @ the newly refurbished K2 club, Man Met Union, Oxford Rd.
