hey, trying to get some good sounding bass for ma tune. the tune is sounding good but needs a nice bass line that'll compliment it well!!
im using cubase and have reaktor, reason etc....
tried some complex routing using 3 maelstroms running through different filters at slightly different tones but it all got far too complicated!!
any advice on this??:mr_cool:

erm jus keep on tweaking it ur bound 2 get a good sound on tht type of software......maybe learn what each effect does( no offence intended) but im no expert i cnt exactly talk lol

try using some vsti through cubase. I could never quiet get the sound I wanted using the Reason synths. once i got some plugins for acid pro I can get every type of sound. heres a few that can get you the sound your looking for.

sw-pro or trance pro made by Superwave.

reFX Vanguard made by reFX

or maybe pentagon 1 by rgc Audio Software

Are you referring to a reece baseline, like feature in Ed Rush & Optical - Reece, and favoured by the likes of The Upbeats and many others. It is a dark heavily distorted bassline, if that is what you are after there is a full tutorial I can link ya up with.
