Im guna have to do this soon when I move out but have no idea what type of stuff to use. I wana make them myself and do it as cheaply as possible.

Anyone know what to use and where to get it from? Just had a look at RW3 Rockwool, can I just use this solely?

Yeah they sell RW3 in Studiospares. Don't know if that's near you? I'm sure they deliver. That's the best stuff for bass frequencies due to its density, regular Rockwool won't help as much. I've had the steepest learning curve recently due to my new room. Check out REW wizard, take readings of your studio space to help target problem nulls and modes.
