Mike devoured music and it was his biggest passion. His favourite genres were dance related and he grew up listening to and making tunes on his trusty Amiga 500. In the early 90s he’d listen to DJ Osmosis on Exile radio. A few years ago he bought a box of 12” records for £100 from the house clearance shop at the end of the road we lived on. Once he got them home, he realised they were DJ Osmosis’ own records, the ones he’d broadcast with. He loved things like that and felt honoured to have them in his collection. Last year, by accident, I found out that his favourite DJ was DJ Pilgrim. Everyone thinks their other half is special, but he really was amazing.
