D&B News:
Hello again crew!! Hope you're all well. Coming up this Friday 7th December it's a Proximity Recordings Repeater Takeover in Room 2 of D.A.N.C.E!! The label run by Ram supremo Basher will host this epic night which sees a back to back set by the man himself alongside new Ram/ProgRam signing Frankee. Also deep tech hot property Gerra & Stone (Proximity/Alignment) will be dropping gems plus sets from Axon, Outer Heaven & Kit!!
On the new releases front one of our favourite producers Wilkinson delivers a seriously good single on Ram with a guitar based vocal tune for the ladies on side A plus an absolute floor destroyer on the flip!! The Shogun Audio boys are at it again with the "Evolution E.P Series 4" which contains hard hitters and deep cuts from Optiv & BTK, The Prototypes, Icicle and Technimatic! As well as these bangers Dread welcome MR Explicit to the label and he provides four rowdy, energetic nuggets for the "Cyberdread E.P" which all contain that recognisable Dread sound. Plus we have cuts from Ruffhouse, Calibre and more!!
Onto the Promos and TC drops the eagerly anticipated Trap/Electro/D&B anthem "Do you Rock" on his own Don't Play label. "Drug FuCT" on the flip is a killa too!! Long standing hype man David Boomah gets a solo release on V Records for all you reggae flavoured D&B fans and Hybrid Minds the young soulful upstarts drop a dope 12" on Grid offshoot allsorts. Massive release this week as Four Tet sees two of his recent tracks remixed! First up hot newcomer and lad of only 16 Happa delivers an exceptional techno flavoured remix of Jupiters whilst Jamie XX provides a deep, emotional Future bass remix of "Lion", a top release!
Also on pre order we have a Christmas treat from the legendary Burial on Hyperdub!! the mysterious "One" / "Two" release which clocks in at over 25 minutes and is bound to be amazing. also Disclosure's chart topping "Latch" has arrived on vinyl which include a great T.Williams remix. All this plus great tracks from Animal Youth (aka Redlight), Mickey Pearce and Om Unit.
