D&B News:
So we're nearing a big Repeater Sessions special at McCluskys when Octane & DLR man the decks on Friday 8th Febuary!It's gonna be a lively deeep tech selection all night so make sure you don't miss this awesome duo in Kingston!!
As for the releases Calibre drops a deep dubby bassline led track on Footprints on his "Rennaisance E.P". the E.P also contains a couple of superb deep house joints from the Irish king of soul. Hybris gets a full release on Subtitles with two tracks taken from the "Occult" E.P which has a tight, crisp, minimal sound. Also Hospital release their "Hospitality D&B 2013" compilation mix CD at a great price!
It's a big one this week in the promo section as Dub Phizix teams up with Mancunian lyricist Skittles to create one of the most eagerly anticipated tracks in a long time "The Creator" on Exit Records! It's the follow up to "Marka" and goes off like a bomb in the rave! Also Stray goes very deep on Blu Mar Ten with an almost completely ambient soundscape on side a plus a glitchy edit heavy track on the flip.

Dubstep:
Hello. Big old selection this week. Firstly Chimpo the Mancunian Dubstep don drops "Gaza" a dutty tune with big D&B MC Trigga on the vocals!! It's full of rudeboy swagga and has remixes from Sukh Knight, Dub Phizix and Zed Bias, a wonderful variety of different styles on the remixes all by producers from Manchester.
Caspa is back on form this week with a blinding remix 12" of his "On It" track which features dope remixes from Dismantle, TC and Dirty Dog. Another amazing producer making a welcome return is Silkie!! A personal favourite of mine is back with a heavy pair of tunes on Deep Medi. Also on Deep Medi, Tunnidge goes deep on a three track E.P entitled "Twenty12".
Also keep an eye out because Modestep return to Kingston! To celebrate the release of their long-awaited debut album "Evolution Theory" the London dubstep / rock hybrid band join us at McClusky's for a Signing Session and DJ set with singer Josh on MC duties! That's your lot peeps have a fantastic week.

Wonky/ Bass Music:
Some stunning releases this week. NY based Falty DL aka Drew Lustman after several well received singles and E.P's on other prestigious labels delivers his debut LP "Hardcourage" on Ninja Tune. Martyn's 3024 imprint delves in the Canadian techno scene and presents 3 carefully selected tracks from Kevin McPhee, Gingy & Nautiluss on the "Dovercourt E.P".
Actress, I think it is fair to say is one of the best experimental electronic producers in the World. On the 3 track "Silver Cloud E.P" out on Werkdiscs/Ninja tune he displays his awesome skills. Also in the shop we have some great releases from Nathan H on Man Make Music and Blacksmif on Blah Blah Blah which features a cracking Lorca mix.
