    Dubstep:

We're back after the Christmas lull of releases with some certified bangers!! First up Biome works his deep crisp skills to great effect on "The Shaman E.P". Also Razor Recta gets his second release on Distance's Chestplate and it's a dark peice of dread with a serious bassline. Banger!!

Exciting Dubstep pairing Killawatt and Ipman more accustomed to making deep, dark tribal sound turn their hand to a more Dubby approach on "The Warehouse Dub" E.P which is similar to Kahn's "Dread" and as usual they have absolutely smashed it!! Widowmaker, a relatively new name on the scene with a very bright future kills with a serious pair of percussion heavy, dark, tribal riddims on new label Kaium. Defintely one for fans of Icicle and Kryptic Minds!

    Wonky / Bass Music

There's a great selection to start the year off!! Man of much hype T Williams delivers the highly sought after Deep House / Bass Music track "Dreaming" on PMR which is a highlight of his recent Rinse mix. Happa the 15 year old techno whizz kid gets the first proper release on Church which happen to be his first proper release! His "Beat Of The Drum" b/w "Bring It Back" single marks him firmly as one to watch in 2013.

Continuing down the Techno path Pariah & Blawan join forces again on their Karenn project and provide the fourth release on their own Sheworks label. It features 5 tracks of excellent grungy techno which will be the soundtrack for many a warehouse this year! Grab it quick as it won't be around for long. Finally Will Saul and October's superbly deep track "Light Sleeper" get's a release on Saul's own Aus label. It also features a classy mix from Kompakt's Michael Mayer. that's it playa's have a great week.
