Bad Feedback while Recording through laptop

Anyone know how to stop the feedback coming from the laptop when its recording?? every time I record the laptop gives off really bad muffling noises which come out on the mix . Any help would be most appreciated

If you take it off mains power does it stop? If so you need this:

it is quite a good one, there are cheaper available but apparently you get what you pay for.

Edit: Make sure you have the relevant cables / female-female connectors appropriate to your setup to plug it in.

Cheers For the Advice mate. U got it spot on , Without the Battery Charger Plugged in there's no Feedback but the music sounds terrible like its lost all the bass and treble and when the charger is plugged in the music sounds fine but the interference is horrendous
