Bad Company - Ice Station Zero

You forget Nextlevelism and Sigma's life That has some ok-ish introductory tracks to drum & bass

I'd very strongly disagree with this statement personally. Fair enough if that's how you got in but I always think with these chart DnB tunes (especially Sigma and Fresh tunes), the people who hear it on the radio are more intrigued by the catchy vocal hooks and such rather than the DnB production behind it.

Could be wrong though, I always imagine the artists that UKF push heavily (like Dimension, certain Hospital and RAM artists, Liquicity artists) to be how more people get into DnB cause on those tunes there's more focus on the actual production.

Bad Company have always been mainstream just listen to The Nine & The Pulse so catchy its almost cheesy
to expect them to make tunes like 4days is stupid when then signed to Ram.
Id say Tetris is a really good track as its sounds like its influenced from all of them and the only one iv heard properly, im not expecting a track like Wonder Where thou
Think the interviews a bit shit with Vegas not being there, already showing how bothered they are about the concept

??? :wtf: ???

Big in the underground != mainstream, lol.

As for this album, yeah, Intermission is the only one I like, and quite a bit actually, sounds a bit like Jonny L don't you guys think?

Hahaha. Ask the average DJ Fresh fan want they think of the The Nine and they'll reply "Its a number."

P.S. Its Maldini that's missing from the interview @Danny_Intro

Right, and then conversely ask them what they think about <insert poppy trash here>.

I've had a long time coming to grips with the fact that the masses just do not appreciate underground electronic music. It never fails when I play a house party. There will always be someone coming up during the middle of a set, right where I'm hitting a groove and feeling the mix, someone will come up and ask me to play a "crowd pleaser". Meaning, Drake, Rhianna, etc. Something poppy that everyone knows.

Yes..............................because people, in general, are stupid!

Well I admit when I first got into DNB it was in part the catchy vocals but I heard harder stuff here and there and it made me want to explore the genre further. It does infuriate me when you get people saying "I love DNB" who can only name tunes like changing, hot right now etc, and I fee like "Yeah........... There's sooooooooooooooooo much more than those kinds of tunes

Maldini sorry
be pretty boring if we didnt have opinions, nonsensical or not, we'd all be arseholes otherwise ;)
when i talk to DNB headz they know of Bad Company - thats my term of mainstream, im not talking chart music..

Really? Zero T, B&E, Rupture to start.

Okay sorry I should have been clearer. Dunno if it's just me but I feel like compared to the good albums, there have been a higher number of disappointing albums compared to this time last year.

I do get it's personal tastes and where you look and all, but yeah, we digress from this particular LP. :-/
