Backups

    Just backing up all my tunes & other related stuff now to a brand new USB hard drive, first time since last year.

    I feel a great sense of relief.

    That is all.

    I've lost stuff too many times to ever go through it again. Also a few times where I've accidentally deleted something I thought was obsolete...

    Better safe than sorry. Some bad shit going to happen eventually anyway. Hard drives will fail at some point.

    yeah my mate works in an IT department, and he gave me a program that backs up the file as soon as it's been modified, been a lifesaver when doing destructive editing

    I did the exact same thing about a week ago, bought a 1TB external hard drive
    It feels like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders

    I buy all my HD's in pairs.
    So I have two identical harddisks just in case one dies.
