This week we caught up with Mark System. He’s an artist that started out in the scene as a MC, but over the years he’s made the transition over to the world of production, and he’s done it with some style. I’m sure many of you will be with me when I say he’s been responsible for some of my all time favourite tracks; titles such as: ‘Optix’ ‘A Drivers Dream’, ‘Observation Point’, ‘Sound Man’ & ‘Waiting For A Meaningful Title’ instantly spring to mind.
It comes as no surprise that Mark System is a name you’ll find in the back catalogues of some of the finest labels in the genre, with Warm Communications, Digital Soundboy, Exit Records (Debut album), Dispatch, Subtitles, Integral & Metalheadz all playing host to his unmistakeable style. Looking to the future we see no signs of a let up in his high quality production; word is he’s currently working on a new EP for Exit Records dropping in 2017.
