Every body was like "Andy C is so cooooooolllll. He will rule drum and bass forever!" "Pendulum is the coolest new thing in drum and bass especially that song Spiral!" "Hey guys did you hear about this new music called dub-step? I can't ever see it becoming popular." "Is it me or is Hospital putting out really great tracks." "I am more into neurofunk." "Wow Subfocus, x-ray is the greatest track ever, except possibly for Scarecrow." "I listen to the underground producers like Klute and Teebee." "DJ Rap, she is so hot, I bet in ten years she will only be hotter." "DJ Zinc will represent Jungle for ever." "Do we call it drum and bass or jungle? I'm not sure any more?"

Well yes admittedly that's what was going around at the time, that and the clownstep discussion, does liquid really exist, something about dillinja and a nob jokes thread. threads didn't move for weeks and whole forums stood still for days. The production forum however, that was the dumbest, it's taken a long long time to build up a base of knowledge big enough that people can ask "does Cubase make a phat recce or must it be logic?" and get a sensible reply instead of "nah m54 u can only reece analog on a mac". Other questions that was hot included analog vs digital, pc vs mac, daw vs daw, what is warmth, post your compressor settings for they are universal, what is a z-place, this new thing called vst technology, how to reece and other popular techstep sounds, it was a really immature and silly discussion and it was forever until we started getting a sensible debate. A user name Gordo had a lot to do with ushering in this new age of reason and academy

Wow, is this place that old?

Holy shit, I've been here not too far off 7 years. And I don't even listen to Drum and Bass. Does not seem that long at all.

The funniest thing is when you notice you spent too much time on the internet for the past 10 years, and suddenly you think: "Man, I'm getting old."

I use to feel old, though, when I see people calling nes, snes and genesis games "shit" because of their "bad graphics".

It was actually youporn that contacted us, said we have the worlds oldest mastrubator and we have to be careful. They also mentioned an award. There will be a small honorary plaque installed on the Berlin Wall, in your honour
