This brand new name to the scene has caught the ears of the prestigious Advanced Recordings imprint. “Flipped Out” is a simple, but catching roller. An absorbing blend of electronic bleeps, sound effects, and sweeping piano melodies. The flip is equally impressive; “Play Around” is a soulful vocal. Well-selected horn and piano samples punctuate the mix. A low sub digs for gold, and surely finds it. Again this may be simple, but it is so effective.
