Vendetta
Supplying his services unassisted for the first time, Switzerland's Axiom has certainly hit the spot. Vendetta is a visceral and volatile venture, starting with the spoken sample of a dissatisfied soul, and building swiftly to drop in just over a minute. Suddenly, twisted sounds are sliding and writhing around the beats, never staying the same for long and swarming like starving synthetic insects all over the track. Urgent and intense.

Sanctuary
On the flip, Sanctuary strikes hard from the outset with a surly snare soon accompanied by atmospherics that give a slight sense of security. Upon the drop though, any serenity is banished and replaced by a bassline bristling with snarling and serrated attitude. The savage beast is soothed somewhat by some chanting and bells towards the breakdown, but returns to wreak its havoc and repeat the pattern. Axiom has arrived.
