Planning a holiday for early next year. Basically want to get away and see some of the most beautiful, unique landscapes the world has to offer but still keeping it relatively cheap.

Anyone got anywhere they can recommend? Iceland is sitting firmly at the top of the list right now. Really want to catch the Northern Lights at some point in my life and it looks like a fantastic country to visit.

yeah dude fuck all that shit, if you can, go to iceland, it has to be some of the most peculiar topography in the world. and then the red sea/black sea, israel/jordanian border, and the desert, thats a screwy looking place, and then, of course the fjords of norway, and im sure china/japan has some some otherworldly sights. i mean i been to china, and it was truly strange and beautiful, but i was there for such a short time and i have family there, so it wasnt your normal tourist thing.

Barely been away in recent years, seen buggar all really hence why I need to get out and see the world a little. All over just straight up natural beauty though. Could bloody do with a nice peaceful trip away and seeing some of natures finest work is spot on for me! Thinking Europe only just for cost.

the island is nice this time of year. instead of cows, they got horses grazing freely. which, granted, is not as good for nature, see, cows trample the ground better and graze more, its better for the lands, but horses just look better. and its a national park, as in nature reserve. its pretty, and i miss it like life itself.

Iceland is an amazing country, went a few years back, lovely scenery, ludicrously expensive at the time though I've heard its calmed down a bit now, people are awesome aswell. If all goes to plan next year I'm looking at going to Cambodia, Vietnam, Tromso, Berlin, Budapest, Amsterdam, Cyprus, try and fit in Florence aswell.
