Very weird thing to talk about as up til a few weeks ago I thought it was a normal thing lol. Here's the wiki: http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Autonomous_sensory_meridian_response Interesting read. Ever since I was young, when I'm in certain specific situations I get this strange sensation, it starts at the back of my neck (forehead for some people) and it envelopes my head and sometimes moves down to shoulders and very rare to my arms and feet. There's a list of a fair few triggers, including seeing people do something and taking great care and pride in it, some people get it when they get they're hair cut, or receive one to one advice from a teacher or colleague. Some people also get it when they hear whispering or see something awe inspiring. The sensation is hard to explain. Pleasurable, very, but not sexual. It's just a feeling like 5 steps up from heartwarming. The sensation is like a tingling and the feeling of something spreading through/over your head. Happens for me when I see extreme acts of kindness or decency. Just does something to me. Also sometimes when I'm getting my hair cut. This is gonna sound so fucking weird to anyone who doesn't know what I'm talking about haha.
