Tracksuit Mafia started DJing dnb and jungle in Belfast around 7 years ago. Coming from a heavy metal background, he has always prefered the harder end of the spectrum. He started producing his own dnb and dubstep around 2 years ago, incorporating metal & hip hop into his dark, dirty, hard-edged tracks. He especially enjoys sampling (movies, music, strange sounds) and twisting these up to create weird and original-sounding patterns and rhythms. He holds a residency at and has heavy involvement with the highly successful and long running Bad Taste events in Belfast, alongside Kodeine, Undadog & Alias Unknown. Recent special guests have included Noisia, Producer, Limewax, The Teknoist and DJ Hidden.

Deficit grew up around Southampton/Portsmouth on a diet of Madness, hip-hop, metal and dnb. DJing now for around 7 years, the most recent highlight has been a warm-up set for Adam F. He can be found rinsing out dirty, rollin tech styles at Malfunction in Bristol and heading up the Automate Radio show. Hard-edged drum & bass aimed square at the dancefloor. Why won't my DAMN FEET STAY STILL?

Didn't work? Ok, go to http://www.intenserecords.co.uk. See the list on the left-hand side of the screen? Cool. Select Intense Radio (3rd from bottom), then click the headphones on next page to tune in.

Still doesn't work? Ok. Throw your computer out the f**king window.

Automate is a collective formed of Deficit and Tracksuit Mafia. The pair met a few years back and started clubbing together regularly, sharing a mutual love of dark, hard, techy dnb and dubstep. Automate currently runs a weekly radio show, sponsored by Intense Records, which aims to showcase both up & coming and established dnb, dubstep and breakbeat dj's. Recent guests include Katanga, Displaced, Esion and Frequency. A bi-monthly London club night is planned for late 2010 with possible record label to follow.
