In the last 20 mins i've broken the headphone jack on my laptop like a speng. From a quick google browse getting it repaired seems long and it only a cheap laptop so i dont think ill bother with that.

So I assume an audio interface is the way to go? Can anyone advise me of a reflectivity cheap one, any makes to stay away from etc?

Will need to be able to record from my mixer as at some point i might be able to string enough tunes together to record a mix. Cheers

    This is what i have.

I bought it so i can go into windows movie maker and select my webcam and the line in on this and then record video mixes without having to record audio and video seperately (i would usually record into serato and then edit the vid and audio together).

Does the job nicely. Nice clean signals.
