Had to make a thread for this tune. Absolutely horrible horrible track.Forthcoming on Audio's album Stratosphere on Virus.

Think it's meant to be dropping around May time. If all the other tracks are up to this standard it'll no doubt be a mindblowing release. With Ed Rush & Optical dropping a new album this year as well it should be a big year for Virus.

sounds kind of like that old virus style but with a more up to date sound about it.

Heard Ed Rush drop this a few times recently, wondered who it was by

Massive tune man, really looking forward to the Audio album if it's more of this

Nice to see him finally getting a bit more recognition

One last thing, if anyone out there can make a decent guess as to how that kind of bass is made please let me know lol

And don't just tell me to detune some saw waves coz there's a lot more than that going on lol

    Neck cracka.

@nifty what bass you talking about man? The grotty b line running underneath everything?
Sounds like it coulda originally been a bass guitar line he played, but he's dirtied up with some amp designer/distortion etc and a whole lot of processing.
    Such a rugged sound.

    Yup that sound mate

Hear it in quite a few techy kinda tunes, mainly Ed Rush and Optical stuff, Upbeats - Big Skeleton is another one, very similar sound to that actually

That's a pretty good shout on the bass guitar, really need to get hold of a guitar vst, will most likely have a look at NI Guitar Rig

The best thing about this tune is that it sounds even better ina dancehallllll
