audacity?

    been watching some usefull vids on youtube on editing etc and they keep on about stereo mix and to enable it ect.i dont have that option on audacity it says rear mic line in and microphone?any ideas

    Go on your volume control options and on recording options check the stereo mix box and then try recording.
    Also a good program for recording but not editing is mp3mymp3 search on:google:

    looked there to no stereo mix option?????

    also how do i remove beats ect from a song so i just have the vocals left cnt find nout on you tube

    you can if you have the instrumental or dub version that comes with the single, i.e. with no vocals. There is a way to do it by using the dub version to cancel out the music of the vocal version, just google for how to make an acapella.

    If you can't do it let me know the song you want, I have tons of acapellas, or you could probably download it from somewhere.
