Atlantic Connection
[Westbay Music Group / Soul:R / CIA]
Atlantic Connection’s Westbay Music Group established itself as one of the hottest labels in the liquid funk scene when they launched in 2006 with ‘Leaving Home’, AC’s testament to his journey from North Carolina to his current location in sunny Los Angeles.
Since then Westbay, and Atlantic Connection have released a string of diverse and exciting 12”s, as well as ‘Tomorrow’s Not Enough’, AC’s daring debut album which topped the Beatport and iTunes sales charts thanks to its wide-angled approach to drum & bass, hip hop and electro.
More recently Atlantic Connection has chosen to keep his studio output to a select few labels, working only with the drum & bass elite and some close friends. Meanwhile Westbay Publishing has been submitting his tracks to high profile TV production companies for use on some of the biggest shows on the planet.
Finally, Atlantic Connection’s hordes of fans across the globe will be happy to learn that he’s been holed up in his studio crafting a brand new album which he’s almost ready to unleash: A brand new album that only the select few can hear by getting to one of his gigs.
Which leads us to the point of this post: The Westbay Music Group and Infectious PR are proud to present Atlantic Connection’s DEBUT UK/EU TOUR! AC has never toured in the UK or Europe so we’re very excited to be able to bring the Westbay sound for the very first time.
