I gonna cry like a girl if I don't figure this crap out. I've been staring at it for months.

    I followed this:

    http://www.musicradar.com/tuition/tech/how-to-make-a-drum-n-bass-beat-in-ableton-live-211697/1

and it sounded like complete shit after the first handful of steps.

I just need a tutorial that will guide me step by step kinda like the one above but with a little more explanation.

Then I would be able to learn on my own after that.

I cant believe how frustrating this can get and its only the first hurdle !!!

The style im starting off with would be jump up dnb. Which sounds pretty basic... But im completely musically retarded.

Kick, snare, kick, snare kick, snare, and so on right.... I have samples that im starting with.

I just can't arrange it in Ableton.

If theres a step by step tutorial out there, then that would keep me from going insane.

There's billions of tutorials on youtube.

Maybe it's not your DAW, some people are comfortable with different ones and struggle in others. Some. I myself just prefer FL, because i've been using it for about 3 years.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lUvrSLZtGbk - Ableton Tutorial 2012 / Drum n Bass

etc. Just search, and dig. You'll find a score.
