Doha, specifically. What the fuck is there to do? flying out for a week and a half on the 28th to see mummykins

apparently i'm not old enough to drink out there, and the regulations regarding alcohol are strict as fuck being an islamic state, but she says she can get me in somewhere

She's gonna be working through the most part of the week, so i'm gonna be left to my own devices and don't particularly fancy flying out there just to sit in her posh apartment dicking about on her laptop.

so anything to do other than eat and look at sand?

Fuck all so I've heard, judging by tripadvisor it backs it up given there is only 20 so called attractions #3 being a promenade .... if I was you I'd go that bit further and go SE Asia - Thailand, Indonesia or Vietnam for 5-6 days for about £300 return to Doha, would work out cheaper anyway and I can guarantee you will have the time of your life.

Eitherway it will be better than the uk... not that thats difficult.

sounds wonderful, but as i said, i'm going out there to see my mum, only reason i want to go really. Was just wondering if there was anything worth doing while she's working.

nah, something on the management side of the building of a new airport.

Lol! If you were armed, you actually wouldn't, not without someone holding your hand.

I used to go there on rugby tours a lot when I was younger, it's ok, not too Eastern, never had a problem getting into bars when I was like 15-16 so you should be ok, maybe ask a taxi driver where the younguns drink
