N Need help New Member Joined May 14, 2015 May 14, 2015 #1 any tips on getting the sustained background atmos noise? below is an example of the kind of thing I am trying to make but it was common in a lot of old records. I am lost when it comes to working out what notes are being used, is it a chord?

I'm pretty sure it is a synth. Synth strings are pretty easy to make with saw waves, im sure you could find some good tutorials for it.
