Yeah, I recommend anything from Canon. Preferably, the EOS Kiss X3.

My Mum just bought one of these:

    http://www.comet.co.uk/shopcomet/product/621978/OLYMPUS-X-940

We have some dudes do nightime flying of Remote Control Helicopters in a field near us & some of the time lapse effects like off an old school camera, but digitially recreated with a function on it & the real time stuff she has taken of them, when viewed on a HD screen look absolutely amazing! :)

So I imagine it would be pretty sleeks in a nightclub environment.

    Not too steep either...

Digital SLR? Or even Compact SLR which is like a normal pocket sized camera with inter changeable SLR lenses which are absolutely sweet, it seems the best option after what they said on the gadget show this week lol

Panasonic Lumix is a good one, but fairly expensive. (Although i'd say worth it)

Anything from the Canon Powershot range.

I have a Canon SX100is, good little camera, very high quality picture, lots of settings and very tough, its been dropped in the sea and sat on a bunch of times, and its still going strong.

Its a bit more expensive than what you are willing to pay for, but there will be good deals on eBay probably, and there are cheaper models in the Powershot range
