2008/9 was a massive time for this hard American Drum and Bass stuff.. Then Dubstep came along and all these artists (Evol Intent biggest offender of them all) hopped on that band wagon... was a real shame because there was some fucking mental Drum and Bass flying about back then... and this was whilst the UK was going through that wank clownstep phase so ....yeah. I wish this sort of DnB was played out more.. I saw SPL played out in Birmingham recently.. specifically said "DnB set" as well xD Would have loved to see that

dj hidden - "the outsider looking in", also "onyo" (the whole "enclosed" album is pure gold, and he has many more great tracks)

limewax - "047 restored" & "jupiter"

mystification - "show me how to cry" (not the hardest, but probably one of the best tracks ever)
greyone - "ghost possession"
tamas - "sadist", also "neutronome" with pylon & walder
kriotek - "telepat"
nagato - "1207"
oiltech - "dark soldiers"
angerfist - "temple of disease" (yes, angerfist makes dnb, and its good)
