basically im having a bit of a problem with nuendo

im tracking allot of stuff and throwing multiple VST's at my system and the problem I am having is that the little asio time level in the bottom left of my screen keeps peaking

my question is basically is there any way of upping this level

i already have an interface with my buffer set to the max

im wondering is it time to upgrade my system or this there an easy fix just until I finish tracking this tune ready for audio bounce

any help would be much appreciated

thanks

Hey buddy. If you can answer these I can help you a little more;

What's your system specs? (detailed as posible)

&

Roughly how many midi & audio tracks do have have befor it starts pecking?

&

What vst's you using & how many instances of them?

&

finally, what FX are you using and how heavily are you using them?

Could be something daft,if i have avg antivirus on when im running cubase it becomes unusable and i have a pretty mean pc,the asio bar flicks up and down like crazy.Open an empty song on cubase and see if it still does it,thats one way to eliminate whether it is background processes.
