i think it was westfest a couple of years ago, but i think they had problems with the decks that night, as friction was the same.

not to matter, he's made up for it lol

tbh i'm gettin a lil bored of his mixing atm, to much mix n blen rather than cutting & switching
don't get me wrong his tune selection is good and the mixes are spot on but its more suited to listening at home than in a club imo

Friction has so much more energy in his sets, and his mixing is tighter than virgin's daughter

is it time for andy to step aside yet? :slick:

Never!!!!!! Andy C is still the king and by a massive mile for me. Friction is a good dj but he's got nothing on the c. when it was andy 3 hours friction 2 hours at fabric not long ago, they were both on 3 decks and andy was jus all ways on 3 jus switching quickly between each of the que's. But friction would take ages making sure he had the two locked before he even thought about moving onto the third deck. And for energy on the decks, no one surpasses andy, he jumps up n down like a maniac and loves it just as much as the ravers. Andy numero uno.

ive seen friction twice in the last 3 weeks on two decks and believe me taking ages was the last thing he was doing

Andy C is amazing and always will be, but his sets annoy me because of GQ

edit: I take back what i said about GQ hes not a cunt, I don't even know the guy, he's probably a really nice guy, i personally dont like his MC'ing

    sorry if i annoyed anyone!

  12. GQ is as big a legend as Andy C.....all day long. That's why Andy chooses to tour with him and have him on his sets most of the time.
    GQ is the original.

Fair enough if you don't like GQ..i didnt used to like him.. but he knows when to shut the fuck up, and let the music flow..or keep it toned down when a tune is new or is being digged by the crowd.. a trait alot of mc's dont have.. alot of them seem to think it's seems so that its MC Convention in every event and that the music is complementing them not the other way round.

hang on here, who said moving between vinyls as fast as u can is a gd thing?

its not about how fast u can mix every vinyl its about how well you do it. and mix the right songs in the right places.

    I second that mate
I'm also not into sets where loads of dubplates are just played i'd rather listen to a set with just a few dubs and tunes from old and new
