Andy C has been selecting the best unreleased music of the time for his Nightlife mixes since 2003. In that time there have been four in the series with volume five is primed and ready for release in October.

The album will showcase some new Ram signings such as Wilkinson and Delta Heavy (recently featured on Hospital and Viper respectively), brand new tracks from the forthcoming albums of Xample & Lomax and Culture Shock as well as plenty of exclusives from heavyweight names.

To accompany the CD release there will be a collection of singles, the first of which will be Link To The Past / Rapidas by Xample and Lomax on September 6th followed by a Dimensions style EP released alongside the Nightlife CD on October 11th.

Ram are currently embarking on a project with Drum & Bass Arena TV. Breaking the traditional mould of the site, they promise a unique show mixing music and interviews to be produced by legendary Top Of The Pops veteran Chris Cowley. A more academic documentary on the label is currently being edited too.

meh, another nightlife, again lots n lots of dubs that will never see the light of the day (LUNAR BASS COMMIX VIP :( )

Itʼs been nearly 2 years since the last installment of Andy Cʼs critically acclaimed Nightlife series and to date sales have exceeded well over 100,000 units in the UK alone. The time is now upon us for the fifth in the series and with whatʼs been happening in Drum & Bass of late and album releases on Ram over the past couple of years, this latest edition could topple the previous four with ease. Andy C - Nightlife 5 is set to be the biggest of the series with a massive 61 tracks mixed over 2 CDʼs. Andy once again takes a snapshot of Drum & Bass - not for this moment in time, but for the next 12 months. Only Andy has the right and authority to demand such an up-front selection of tracks from the world of DnB and be greeted with an abundance of music to choose from. Heʼs earned this privilege from his sheer enthusiasm for this music, scene, and DnB lifestyle he leads. There is never a bad time to discuss anything DnB related or get advice from him and thereʼs been many a hit over the past few years where Andy has had some sort of input whether it on Ram or not. His enthusiasm is projected 10 fold whenever he steps behind a set of decks. One of only a handful of DJʼs still to use vinyl and dub plates he puts on a show that people want to watch. Andyʼs demographic is without doubt one of the widest of any DJ out there... Ranging from the people that saw him on his rise in the early / mid nineties (some are still regulars at Ram events now), right through to the audiences at some of the UKʼs largest under age events that attract around 5000 under 18ʼs. He maintains this wide audience range by the way he can mix “old skool” classics seamlessly over todays hits whilst already being mixed... he can have a record beat-matched and in time within a few seconds of the needle hitting the vinyl, sometimes on 3 or even 4 decks at once. Andy still reigns supreme as the world best Drum & Bass DJ having picked up the last 2 years worth of awards. This is also the case for Ram as a label, which has collected the same for best Record Label. One of the unique things about this album is both Andy and Ram want to shout about the new exclusive signings to the Ram roster... Loadstar (Xample & Lomax), Wilkinson, and Delta Heavy have all just signed new exciting album deals and their first releases will be via Nightlife 5. With an abundance of brand new exclusive material thats been making waves in the clubs over the past few months, mainly in Andyʼs set, the feed back from both the scene and the public on it all has been overwhelming. Another first for the Nightlife brand will be an extensive downloadable version of the album alongside a series of vinyl packages that will host the new Ram signings alongside Ram regulars and beyond.

Oh no! Rusko? Will that mean that even Andy is gunna b putting dubstep on his cd!?!
I really hope it's not full of mainstream tunes, but I'm sure it won't, the nightlife seris doesn't normally disappoint, but dnb has snowballed in popularity since the last installment!
