Meh, feel sorry for people who see him at these events. Really doesn't shine like he does at Matter and other places imo.

Coz he probably ain't getting paid what he should b for his ability, heard the's wat goes on wiv alot of artist @ innovation, coz they don't get paid enough they don't put the effort in

Nah man I dont think people like Andy would go on like that. Can see what your saying tho.

its blatantly because the majority of the people at these events arent even there for the music, one nation is notorious for fights and muggins etc. in contrast to the peeps who turn up to Matter are their for the vibes, the mixing, the one like Andy C etc

most likely

hmmmm possibly could be a factor, but I think it's more down to the shitty set ups at these events and the big djs just put together sets with mixes they feel comfortable with and have done a lot.

It would be an absolute joke for half of the artists djing in the scene to put even less effort into their sets because they don't feel they're get paid enough

I hate to mention names so I won't, but basicly I don't feel a lot of djs in the scene are worth their salt even when performing to the best of their ability, so to put even less effort in or complain about not being paid enough is an absolute pisstake when you can't even consistently beatmatch

Djing infront of a crowd (no matter how big or small) that wants to hear what you've got to play is always a blessing so the money shouldn't even be an issue, unless you're consistently one of the very best, in which case your performance is of more value to both the promoters and crowd, so potentially it would be fair in this case to demand better pay than the far weaker competition
