What the hell is this then? I thought we just had new Spiderman movies? With Toby whatshisface!
cant see how this is gonna be any different from the other ones to be honest man,
hopefully a big improvement on the last ones
the part on the roofs looks good
Dont get this at all. Looks like they are just remaking the first one.
Yeah it's a complete reboot. Starting from scratch. Explaining a lot more than the Sam Raimi trilogy did. It should be good. The tone seems a lot darker, plus Andrew Garfield could be promising as Spidey. He was very good in Social Network. 2012 is gonna be a big year for comic book flicks. There's this, Dark Knight Rises & The Avengers to look forward to!
wtf are they kickstarting against with how spiderman came to be... wtf not continue with new new enemy ...
means 1/2 the film wasted with him geeking out and getting bitten
Man I thought the last decade was the decade of remakes, it's gonna continue.
Does look watchable for the action though.
So basically ripping of the whole concept of the dark knight trilogy. No effort in that whatsoever
look like that mirrors edge game
looks alrite but nothin great
what is the point
the point is that the three spiderman movies sam raimi did were a travesty, an insult to the fans, a total butchery of the story, a tasteless whoring of the spiderman mythos in the wake of 9-11, the list goes on forever, those movies were abominations unto mankind. i dont know if this will be any better, and i dont want to see half a film of him being geek in school and picked on and no girls will do kissy lips with him in the rain either, but to reboot the whole thing is absolutely necessary. there should be a formal apology with it too, from marvel, universal and sam raimi, to me, personally, promising sam raimi unconditional retirement from doing films.
So basically with films keep pumping out shite until you manage to create a decent recreation of the story? I agree with the post 9/11 thing tho, the scene where he jumps onto a building with a screen-sized american flag waving behind him =/
exactly that scene. an great indication of what the director really thought about when making these films.
and the kids in the end of the third one, thats sam raimis kids, he got them in there too, just because.
it was great to see the better CGI bits with venom and sandman and spiderman zooming about in live action 3d,
i always wanted to see that, so that was nice, but everything else about it was really offensive.
and even that was so-so, much of the CGI in the first and second film was awful, such as
green goblin, hobgoblin, and much of spiderman. peter parker faffing about being pathetic in various ways sucked too,
most likely aimed at the tv drama audience.
as for pumping out shite until you get it right, i dont know, no rules to that i suppose, i know i want to see more spiderman films. just good ones though, thats my thing. im a big fan of 'good', not so big fan of 'bad'.
and captain america!
but its about time the spidey films were good... spiderman is wicked, but that trilogy was ghey!
I didnt think the originals where that great tbf but there are a lot more Comic type book films that much much worse!
Talking of bad movie ideas they are planning on remaking Total Recall which is just a terrible idea
clever they mention stark... as in iron mans dad, as this is set in the 40s or 30s!
yup and running man apparently. basically all comic book movies were shit, with very few exceptions.
exceptions: daredevil (maybe, was a long time ago), ironman, watchmen, many of the batman movies were good, superman, and thats about it i think
edit: wolverine was pretty good and x-men too, its just theyre made by the same people and they have a dreary artificial quality to them
any real spider-man fan dont give a fuck about no films anyway....
all comics made into films are piss poor....just read the comic...oh wait...ppl are too retarded now days to be reading....
