Can anyone recommend an alternative to auacity for recording my mixes because im having problems with it. duno if its my mixer or laptop not getting on with it but the playback always seem to be to loud to cope and I have to turn the bass virtually off and the input volume to 0 same for the gains which is just annoying. So does anyone use different software. Cheers!

You just saved me from making an identical thread to this, cheers mate. Was about to do this literally as we speak. I hate audacity too, the sound quality is always shite which is why I've never posted anything on here yet.

I know people on here will be quite clued up about this, so any help would be appreicated.

audacity is the tits u can record well good quality mixes on there..? wot r u using as the output from your mixer to the laptop, i mean are you just using a phono to headphone lead or an external sound card? if you are just using the lead try something like this http://www.chemical-records.co.uk/sc/servlet/Info?Track=USBH100 its what i use and its never let me down!
